Dear Friend,

Of course you are a good person, a nice person. But are you perfect?

To be perfect that means you've never:

~stolen
~lusted after someone of the opposite sex
~hated
~Felt bitter
~Withheld forgiveness
~Looked down on others. Felt haughty.
~Wished you or someone else were dead (murder)

If you say "no" to everything on this list, well then maybe you've just lied, and that's a sin too. Hey, I've a pretty nice person, but I've blown it too. That's why I need GRACE and forgiveness through Jesus.

Here's the deal, it's not about being 'good' or 'good enough' unless you want to live under the law. To live under the law, the requirement is simple, you must be perfect. But as no one is perfect, everyone needs grace or forgiveness. The Bible says,

"For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it." James 2:10

Please don't play 'cowboy' here, you can't win. You NEED grace! You need God.
