Prayer Box
With tiny print I write the
names of
Those so dear to me.
I put them in my special box
For me and God to see.
The box hangs on silver chain
And rest above my heart.
Reminding me to pray for those so
Close though we're apart.
Sometimes I fill my little
box with
Prayers for a dear friend
I slip it on her so she knows
On God She can depend.
My friends who see my special
box
Oft ask me for my prayers.
A lovely way to speak of God and
Let them know He cares.
