Straight From the
Heart is a 501 © 3 doing business as Right to the Heart tm. Right
to the Heart, www.righttotheheart.org, is an organization committed to encourage,

It was founded in 1999.
Right to the Heart
generates about $63,000 a year in income through
donors, conference fees, foundations, and publishing. However, the organization
is growing at such a rate that additional help is now needed.
Right to the Heart currently has three main branches:

Right to
the Heart Radio - Right to the Heart is an inspirational daily radio
feature to encourage listeners to the deeper spiritual walk. Right to
the Heart Radio can measure its success by how fast the program has
grown. Since its launch in October of 2002, it now airs on over 150
radio stations from coast to coast. This daily feature, with author
Linda Evans Shepherd, is made up of remarkable, humorous, and inspiring
stories, told from a woman's and mother's point of view, to soothe the
soul and warm the heart.
In addition,
Right to the Heart Radio has developed several hour long features including:
Five Stages of Romance - To encourage couples to stay happily married;
Right to the Heart of a Mom - To encourage mothers; Intimate Moments
with God (in development) To encourage listeners to make a place for
God in their lives.
| Linda
Evans Shepherd, the President of Right to the Heart, is the
author of fifteen books, including Intimate Encounters with God.
She is a national radio host and an international speaker. She has
a dramatic story in that her then eighteen-month old baby, Laura,
was thrown into the freeway during a violent car accident and spent
ten months in coma before awaking to a life with severe disabilities.
"Laura, who is now seventeen, has taught me the language of
love," Linda explains. Linda has been married twenty-four years
and she and her husband Paul also have a teenaged son, Jimmy. Linda
explains, "God has turned the 'pits' of my life into stepping
stones to encourage and inspire others. |

AWSA - The
Advanced Writers and Speakers Association - was founded in September
of 2000. It is an association to encourage and equip those women communicators
of the church who both write books and speak nationally. The members
of the group are from around the country.
Most
of these women communicators of faith do not have big ministries behind
them, and are often busy moms, grand moms and singles who share from
their own resources to travel and write to encourage and equip others.
AWSA is a place where these women can encourage and equip one another.
The annual conference is a huge support to these women. See www.awsawomen.com.

OPERATION INTERNET
HARVEST
New Year's Eve 2003,
we sponsored Internet 'suicide' searches with our link, www.GodTest.com,
an interactive gospel website. In the first four days of this
sponsorship, over 1000 people clicked through to our gospel presentation.
Over 100 said 'YES TO JESUS'.
Since then, over 100,000
people have said 'Yes" to Jesus and another 100,000 believer
have found helps for depression.
Though we do not have
the budget to continue this project, we do not have the heart
to take this sponsored link down. If we keep it up, we believe
5,000 to 10,000 will say "YES TO JESUS'. Please help us.
Here's what we are looking at for the year:
Search Engine Ads:
$20,000
Bible Study and Web Development: $5,000
Operation Expense: $5,000
Total Request: $30,000
